Document Review

Document Review reads your chapter or full thesis the way a demanding examiner would: structure, argument, evidence, and academic style. The feedback is graded against your academic level: a PhD review is harsher by design.

  1. Open Document Reviewer from Home (the Refine stage).
  2. Paste your text, or upload a file (PDF, DOCX or TXT, up to 25 MB).
  3. Choose a review mode: general review, an internship-report rubric, or a discipline-aware rubric.
  4. The feedback streams in as it is generated. If your connection drops, the app reconnects and continues from where it was, because the job keeps running on the server.
  5. Use the follow-up chat on the result to ask “what exactly do you mean here?”

Review chapter by chapter, not the whole thesis over and over. A full-thesis review is the single most expensive operation in the app, which is why the allowance is the tightest in the product.

Document Review has the same small allowance at every academic level.

Document Review and Address supervisor comments share this same counter, so plan the two together.

During the busy weekday hours there is also a small limit on reviews per window. See How tokens and weekly limits work.
