Choosing your academic level

Your academic level is the setting that shapes every AI response in ResearchDoom. It changes what the tools actually produce.

Diploma Undergraduate Master’s PhD
How it treats you Encouraging instructor Encouraging teacher Supportive but firm supervisor Rigorous examiner
Originality expected Very low: apply known methods Low Moderate: find and partly fill a gap High: a defensible, specific contribution
Literature depth Shallow Shallow to moderate Moderate to deep Very deep, global
Publication Not expected Not expected Encouraged Often required (1 to 3 papers)
Typical length 20 to 40 pages 40 to 80 pages 70 to 120 pages 150 to 300+ pages

You do not choose how long a chapter is. ResearchDoom sets it from your level and the chapter type. For example, a Literature Review is around 1,200 words at diploma and around 6,000 words at PhD. This is deliberate: most students do not know how long a methodology chapter should be, and the writer follows a proper per-section structure rather than padding to a target.

Diploma, undergraduate and Master’s work combines Results and Discussion into a single Chapter 4 by default. PhD work splits them into two chapters. Master’s and PhD work also needs a conceptual framework with a diagram.

If you set Diploma, ResearchDoom writes for UBTEB diplomas, UNMEB and UAHEB health programmes and NTC education programmes specifically, and matches whichever deliverable you are actually doing: a project report, a research report, or a field attachment report.

  • Locked while a paid plan is active. You cannot change level until your current plan expires. Contact support if you paid at the wrong level.
  • After your trial starts, you can move down but not up. You can switch from Master’s to undergraduate yourself, but not the reverse. If your programme genuinely changed, contact support at support.researchdoom@gmail.com.
  • Nothing is lost when you switch. If you switch level during your trial, or after a plan has ended, each level keeps its own tokens, documents and history. Switch back and everything is where you left it.
  • Each level has its own separate token balance and its own plans.
